Hmm, I wanted to start a post, and seeing as this thread had none, I came here.
The song that Ernst plays on the flute (Jacob's song) is really pretty. I taught myself to play it on the recorder, because I didn't have a flute. Man, I wish I had my recorder here with me at college so that I could play it. I got the sudden urge to do so.

Thanks for starting a new thread, moviefanatic! Such an interesting first post in this section.
Thats a unanimous vote of three so far for loving Jacob's song. Though I have to say that in general I'm not a huge fan of pan pipes (I think thats another instrument Ernst plays - when they're on the beach with Emily and Namatiti) and such, I do find much of the music in Stranded relaxing.
Oh wow! You both learned to play Jacob's song by yourselves?! That is so cool! Perhaps a recorder/guitar collaboration could be in order. *lol* Kidding, gang. ;D
I know this is a massive request and i dunno if its doable, but if either of you are able to ply Jacob's song (or any of the others from the movie - the pirate's theme, the family's theme, the general theme, Namatiti's song etc.) no matter what the instrument and record it, would you please be able to send me a copy so I can have it playing over the pages of the site?
Sadly, I've been hunting for the soundtrack without success. I suspect it was never released.
Oh, and Random? I dunno about his original instrument - the one Ernst has on the Endymion - but I reckon he probably made the other(s) that he uses himself from reeds and such. That is unless the pipes he uses to try and woo Emily are his original ones from seven years previously. Endymion.
